THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF JEWELLERY VALUATION SERVICE'S AVAILABLE

 

Written legal valuations. Charges are from, $140.00 for one item and $90.00 for each item after. For this, you receive a detailed signed legal certificate. Each piece has its weight, its description, its characteristics, its condition, it's photo, and its current 'Retail Value' legally recorded. No appointment is necessary, you can drop in your jewellery at any time. Your jewellery, stays in our store, and whilst in our care, it is fully insured. This valuation service takes between 4 -7 days to prepare, the time taken, depends on our work load, and how many items left to be valued.

Written Insurance Quotes. To establish a cost value of your lost, damaged or stolen jewellery. By appointment only. This charge is from $100.00 for the first item and $50.00 for each item following. It will take between 4-7 days to prepare. Subsequently, if we receive a contract from your insurance company, to fix/replace your jewellery items, what you paid for our prepared quote, is credited back to your claim amount. 

 

Verbal Quotes. This lower cost option, is to establish authentication and basic values of your jewellery. This service is by appointment only, is charged at $150 per hour. To minimize this cost, arrive to your appointment prepared. Bring in an itemized list of your jewellery, preferably with each item numbered and photographed. This will save the valuator time, and you unnecessary costs. NOTE - this option, is not a legal statement of value.
